business strike set
containing all 158 uncirculated quarters from the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints. In 2010 & 2011 business strike coins were minted only in Philadelphia and Denver (and released into circulation).  In 2012 through 2021, business strike coins were minted in Philadelphia and Denver for general circulation and then, surprisingly in 2012, at San Francisco Mint for
collectors only
!
(i.e.,“S” business strike coins are only available directly from the mint, at a premium, and have not been released into general circulation…this makes the “S”mint coin mintage significantly lower in mintage compared to the P & D quarters).
The last time the San Francisco Mint produced Business Strike Quarters was in 1954 and have only produced Proof coins since then. T
he SF mint
did not
produce business strike coins in 2010,2011
Please Note:
This set of uncirculated coins (BU) are Circulation Strike (a.k.a. Business Strike) for public circulation in commerce. Although cotton gloves have been used 100% of the time, there may be small nicks, water marks and toning of some coins. This is normal for business strike coins.
These are not proof coins!
All of these coins have been purchased directly from the US mint. They have been stored in a climate controlled and smoke free environment. All coins in these sets have not been
searched
! (out of the roll/bag and into the tube) There may be mint errors and or a very high grade!
This set has been taken directly out of US Mint rolls/bags and placed into coin tubes by issue date.This set is shipped in 4-coin tubes. Please see pictures for your review.
