For auction I have a
ANTIQUE CRAWFORD KNITTING MACHINE HEAD PART STEAM PUNK VINTAGE CAST IRON SEWING!
Appears to be some type of feed mechanism for an early knitting machine.
Screams Steampunk!
Its is approx. 14" in diameter(not including operation handle).
Inner body is made of heavy cast iron with adjustable solid steel rod.
Front ID Plate reads:
CRAWFORD MFG CO NEW BRUNSWICK N.J. PAT. JAN. 16, 1917 OTHER PATENTS PENDING.
There are 2 thin spring loaded rings missing from two of the outer attachments(stated for clarity).
These don't come along very often.
Comes exactly as pictured.
