This great bowl was just purchased from a local estate where it was the highlight of their collection!
GREAT FRUIT BOWL OR CENTERPIECE FOR ANY TABLE OR BUFFET. Top of bowl measures 11" x 14" with total height with base being 7".
The silverplate base is signed pairpoint and in excellent condition. It could be cleaned up as there is dried silver polish in the recesses. Highly detailed, heavy, and nice.
The cut bowl is super thick and very heavy, as is all old cut glass. The condition is excellent for the age. A few small flakes around top edges and a few chips around bottom of bowl and upper ring where it was taken out of mounting over the years. When you see and feel the weight, it will be easy to see why this happened. Inside bowl as scuff and scratch marks from use.
