    Description

    Offered Here is an Original Antique (1870-80’s) Blown Blue Satin-Glass Small, Flower Vase which is Most Likely a Product of the Mt. Washington (Flint) Glass Works of New Bedford Massachusetts. The Blue Fading to White "Flint-Glass" Features a Nice "Fiery-Opalescent" Cast when Viewing the Glass, Through Bright Sun-Light, which was Very Typical of the Early Art Glass of that Period from the 1860-90's. The Top is  Hand-"Crimped" around the Opening of the Vase. The Base has a Classic New England Glass Company Style "Ground-Pontil-Scar". with Some Additional "Flecks" of Glass from the Batch that Day that Adhered to the Flat Surface of the Bottom of the Vase.
