    John Lennon 1969 Toronto Peace Festival Sticker Backstage Pass Butt-On
    One of the most rarefied pieces of John Lennon memorabilia, an original unused cloth promotional sticker ("butt-on") for the 1969 TORONTO PEACE FESTIVAL (also called "LIVE PEACE IN TORONTO"), featuring JOHN LENNON and the PLASTIC ONO BAND, John's first performance before a large audience in a number of years. Invited by the festival promoters just days before the event, Lennon put together a band in a matter of days, which included Eric Clapton, Klaus Voorman and drummer Alan White. One of the numbers performed that day was "Cold Turkey", first performed live at this festival. Lennon mixed the recordings in a day and issued the album LIVE PEACE IN TORONTO 1969. This promotional sticker was made for the now historic festival in Toronto. The DOORS were also on the billing. In excellent, unused condition. Paper backing still attached. Measures 4" x4".
