From 1991 to 1992, the publishers of HIGH TIMES magazine issued a special, separate MASTERS OF ROCK series covering some of rock's greatest perfoRmers--from LED ZEPPELIN to ERIC CLAPTON. Each issue was devoted to one artist or band, and included fabulous, previously-unpublished photographs, great articles, and exclusive interviews. This is a 1990 issue dedicated to Beatle JOHN LENNON.Contains fabulous photos, including 23 pages of full page, full color bleed photos of Lennon from early times to the time near the end of his life. Includes some familiar ones, like Lennon in front of the Statue of Liberty, and the centerfold is the psychedelic portrait shot by RICHARD AVEDON. But other less familiar photos are also featured, like Lennon in black fur coat and fur boots holding a panda bear, or holding baby Sean! Magazine also contains great interviews with HARRY NILSSON and PAUL McCartney. There's a feature on the Bag One drawings and histories covering "The Beatle Years" and "The Solo Years". Really great reading. A must for any Lennon fan. Measures 8 1/4" x 10 3/4". Near mint condition. About 82 pages.
