John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Limited Edition Print #87/300, Bag One Arts, 2001, CoA.
This is a superb, limited edition print from the "Bag One Arts" series, published in 2001. It is a serigraph print of one of the fourteen drawings which John Lennon presented to Yoko Ono on their wedding day in 1969. It is titled "You are here" and numbered 87/300. It has been signed by Yoko Ono. "Bag One Arts, Inc" is Yoko Ono's company. The printing company Atelier GF, Torono, was chosen to produce these limited edition serigraphs on special "Stonehenge" paper.
The print has been professionally framed and matted in a Spanish-style frame, valued at 0. The print is framed under special UV-glass to protect the paper from harmful exposure to light. The frame measures 38" x 33". The print has been matted to 27 1/4" x 21 1/4". It has been lovingly cared for and is in pristine condition.
Provenance
:- This print was recently acquired at an estate sale in Seattle. The owner had personally met Yoko Ono Lennon at the time of purchasing this print.
- The print has the original Bag One Arts, Inc embossed Certificate of Authenticity (photos #9 and 11).
- The print has Yoko Ono's signature in pencil, underneath the numbering 87/300 (photo #6).
- The print has Yoko Ono's chop seal (photo #5).
-The print has the printer's embossed marking "gf" on the paper (photo #5)
- The paper also has an embossed signature from John Lennon (Photo #5).
