This kit contains everything you need except glue to complete a beautiful,
collectible
ornament that will please for generations.
Finished ornament will be about 3" across and 4.5" top to bottom not including the hanging cord.
Contains: 2.25" Satin Ball, Italian or Czech silver lined bugle beads, seed beads, acrylic rondelle beads, pearl beads, sequins, pins, corsage pins, and color printed instructions.
My mom created these kind of ornaments back in the 70's & 80's when they were the fad. When she passed away, some of the most prized items were her ornaments. In memory of her I started making these for my grandchildren. Then my friends and now you. I love the challenge that designing these involves. My first one always takes longer and involves multiple remakes because I want these to be amazing. I am very precise because that is the difference that makes a craft into a work of art. Once I have created the first ornament then I rethink it based on how to make a step by step system for the instructions. I have even been known to redo the ornament and instructions because I have: a) found an easier way to make it, or b)some of my supplies become discontinued and I have to use a different item. The end result? A craft that is fun and beautiful, with varying degrees of difficulty for the newbie to the experienced, that will enjoyed for years.
