This is Nicely Knit Dolls by Mary Louise Norman.  Another of her great books. She was such a wonderful writer.  This is her doll collection.  These dolls are designed in full scale and half scale. Put your knitleader, knit contours, etc to use.   take advantage of the doll patterns in this collection to make lovely dolls for those special people on your shopping list, to keep for your own doll collection, or to sell at a nice profit.  Simply trace the pattern selections to your machine, make your swatch and knit the tiny pieces.  Every doll in this collection requires less than two ounces of yarn.  Use your imagination to re-design the clothing patterns for an endleess variety of styles.  each doll pictures is unique, drafted for your machine, and knit with love.
Patterns are for: tiny baby (6" long when complete), Elves and pixies, Cheerleader doll (10 1/2" tall when complete), Japanese doll (10 1/2" tall when complete), sleepy baby (9" tall), toys for sleepy baby.  All dolls have patterns for clothing as well.
These make great gifts and are fun and easy to make.
