Description
Very RARE John LENNON / Yoko ONO / Sean LENNON / Beatles collectable. I am selling this ONE OF A KIND item for my friend, Andrea, whom it was sent to and is GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC and ORIGINAL (obviously not witnessed in person being done, but it is implied). My friend, then in her early teens, had written a sympathy letter to Yoko and Sean, after John's death in 1980, and unexpectedly received in return, a hand drawing (elephant?) in pen by a young Sean, who was only 7 years old at the time, on an index card, with his first name, from Sept. 1981 (date on envelope). On the back is a gracious note, in fine black marker, from Yoko, that reads; "To Andrea, Love, Yoko" (Ono). Includes the ORIGINAL envelope that it was sent in (postmarked Sept. 1981, New York, NY, and addressed ((hand written)) to my friend, Andrea, from 'Studio One, One West 72nd Street, New York, NY 10023'). I am also including another letter from Yoko & Sean (a form letter with facsimile signatures) from March 1982, thanking the writer, Andrea (addressed as 'Across The Universe') for "thinking of them in the past trying year" (with drawing of the Dakota at the bottom of the letter). This also includes the original envelope. A unique piece of music related memorabilia, capturing a time when Beatles fans mourned. A notarized letter from Andrea stating it's authenticity will also be included, if requested. Free postage/insurance. Please ask any questions PRIOR to bidding. This is a relist due to a non-paying bidder.
