December 22, 1980 John Lennon on the cover of Time magazine. Seven pages of coverage of John Lennon‘s life, assassination and assassin. Magazine is in very good shape.  It is my personal copy.  I’ll let the pictures tell the story. There’s a little crimp on the bottom that  disappears after a couple pages. Also covered Reagan assembling his cabinet, the prime interest rate being 20%, the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, crime rising in America, Lech Walesa and Poland, OPEC and movies such as John Belushi in 'Continental Divide' and Dolly Parton in '9 to 5'. Are you nostalgic for cigarette ads in magazines... This one has a bunch. Pop music releases by Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Blondie, Donna Summer, Steely Dan and Talking Heads are also reviewed.
