  • Condition: Good overall condition. This can should display well. No rust or dents but there are some scrapes and dings in the paint as seen. The grease has left some dark staining, most noticeably on the edge of the lid and around the bottom. There is some gunk at the bottom of the seam (photo 9) and this has eaten away at the paint in that spot. Bottom is shiny and solid. There is some grease residue inside the can.

    Vtg 20s 30s Tiolene Cup Grease Can Tin PURE OIL CO. 1 Lb. Size Gas Station
    Vintage Tiolene cup grease can with lid dating from the 1920's or '30's. This one is likely toward the earlier end of that range as the Tiolene script cans seem to be older than the ones with block lettering. Off-white lettering on blue. Lettering is the same on front and back of can. Dimensions are 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter.
    Good overall condition. This can should display well. No rust or dents but there are some scrapes and dings in the paint as seen.
