Z-Flex Z-Woody Jay Adams Skateboard - Signed!

This is a very rare Z-Flex Jay Adams REISSUE of the 1970s Z-Woody - a must have for any serious skate memorabilia collector! Jay Adams is known as the Godfather of skateboarding and one of the original Z-Boys from the Dogtown skate team. This model has become as sought after as the original Z-Woody from the 70s, not an easy board to come by. It was on display in the private collection of a skateshop until its closing.
Jay Adams signed this board in 2011 with a sharpie marker over the clearcoat. The reverse side has an immaculate and very aggressive grip surface with the Z-Flex logo in a highly reflective "machined finish" decal below, just like the dash of a Firebird Trans-Am!
The board is a 7-ply wood construction, plus the center beam. It measures 27.5" long by 7.5" wide with a wheelbase of 13-13/16" (measured from inside bolt holes). Truck holes are drilled for old school trucks at 1-5/8" x 2-1/2". It comes with the factory bag that has some wear from the grip surface.
One of the front bolt holes is slightly double drilled at the surface, but not all the way through. Research online has revealed that others from this small production run have a similar flaw, so it's not out of the ordinary.
The board will be shipped by Canada Post at the buyers risk with with tracking and an insured value of 0. If an alternate carrier is preferred and/or if insurance is wanted for a higher value, please contact me at the end of the auction and I'll accommodate your needs, but at your expense. Please inspect all pictures closely so you know what you're buying. This is a REISSUE deck.
